Reports to: Head of Airborne Asset Adaptation
Work Arrangement:Hybrid, Three (3) days a week in office.

Aerospace Engineering Group (AERO) is responsible for all of Metrea’s aviation engineering capabilities, including design integration and certification. Taking concepts and solution requirements and delivering well designed, high fit, certified solutions. Its comprises of 3 capability areas: Aerospace Design for design and certification, the Aircraft Integration Centre responsible for aircraft integration and Metrea’s Airborne Asset Adaptation (A3) cell responsible for coordination and project management across all integration activities.
Position Summary
In this role you will play a critical role in project managing aircraft modification programs including writing statements of work and other supporting proposal documentation, timeline, resource and cost management. You will be successful through efficient and effective project execution to deliver airborne asset capability on time, quality and budget.

What You’ll Do
- Manage aircraft modification and integration projects to develop new assets and capabilities.
- Support the Production team during aircraft modification phases, and ensures compliance with engineering aircraft configuration control.
- Support the ODA in certification activities ensuring compliance with all elements of applicable Part 21 regulation and component qualification efforts.
- Coordinate ground and flight testing to meet the requirements of mission system and/or certification programs.
- Develop new processes and tools to continuously pursue productivity and quality improvements within the organization.
- Creates program documents such as specifications, statements of work, and purchase orders.
- Evaluate and directly manage suppliers including parts and technical services.
- Create, evaluate, and communicate schedules for projects, communicating regularly with other Metrea stakeholders to meet company goals.
- Develop and track budget for individual projects and the organization, including forecasting and tracking of estimates vs. actuals
- 5 years of relevant experience working with modified special mission aircraft, particularly Bombardier and Textron products.
- Demonstrated experience growing and leading technical teams in an aerospace environment.
- Experience with business functions of leading a project and/or team including schedules, budgets, SOWs, and supplier management.
- Experience of aircraft modification and integration, including sub-contractor management.
- Must be able to manage a heavy workload and prioritize.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Microsoft Project certifications
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, project management principles, quality management systems (e.g., AS9100), and safety protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Valid Driver’s License.
