HELP WANTED: Experienced Auto Detailer (LONGMONT ONLY) | Clean MVR Required | Immediate Start

Meticulous Mobile Detailers (MMD) is seeking ONE experienced, extremely detail-oriented detailer to help cover appointments while I recover from a back injury. This role requires premium-quality results and professional client interactions that protect the reputation we’ve built, reflected in 295 five-star Google reviews. This may lead to a long-term position, as my recovery timeline is uncertain and returning to full-time detailing may not be possible for me.

Longmont is required because you will pick up the work van in Longmont and return it to Longmont after each detail. You must have your own dependable vehicle for transportation to/from the van.

Flexibility is the most important trait for this role. Colorado weather changes fast, client needs shift, and market demand fluctuates. Winter can be slower, so adaptability week-to-week is key.

Schedule reality: This is as-needed based on bookings. It may be 0 days one week and up to 5 days the next.

Availability requirement: You must have full availability between 9 AM–5 PM, Monday–Sunday, and be able to take last-minute bookings since jobs can book the night before.

Overview

Provide exceptional cleaning and finishing services for high-end client vehicles, ensuring a consistently high standard of appearance and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Perform thorough exterior washes using professional tools and safe techniques

• Detail vehicles inside and out (vacuuming, wipe-downs, glass, finishing touches)

• Occasional machine polishing/buffing (as needed per job)

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas; use and store equipment properly

• Inspect vehicles before completion to ensure MMD-level quality

• Provide excellent, proactive communication with clients (arrival, updates if needed, completion)

• Take before/after photos on every job

• Operate the company van responsibly; keep the van/equipment clean, organized, and respected

• Be mindful of supplies and inventory. Products are expensive and inventory will be tracked

Tools & Supplies

• You do not need your own tools or chemicals

• Towels, chemicals, and standard supplies will be provided

• You’re welcome to use your own preferred tools/chemicals if you’d like (optional)

Qualifications (Must-haves)

• Live in Longmont (van pickup/return in Longmont is mandatory)

• Your own reliable vehicle to get to/from the van

• Professional experience working on high-end/luxury vehicles is required

• Comfortable working with wealthy clients and communicating in a polished, professional way

• Valid driver’s license CLEAN MVR is a MUST

• Full availability 9 AM–5 PM, Monday–Sunday, including last-minute notice

• Punctual and dependable

• Clean-cut appearance and professional attire appropriate for a premium mobile detailer

• Strong customer service with clear, respectful communication

• Ability to work independently and efficiently without rushing (speed matters, quality comes first)

• Trustworthy with client vehicles/property and company equipment

Pay (Transparent)

• Paid per job. The detailer earns 50% of the labor price charged to the client.

• You keep 100% of tips.
