1st shift Ice Rink Custodian

THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENT Title:                            Ice Rink Operator 1st shift Statement of Duties Responsible for performing designated custodial duties normally assigned to the building and any other duties which come up within reason. Operates a Zamboni ice resurfacing machine in a skating rink to prepare surface for skating Performs other manual tasks realte to the efficient operation of the skating rink, i.e., cleaning equipment and rink area, making repairs to bleachers and assisting in crowd control Ice rink custodian is responsible for performing the designated duties normally assigned to a building custodian, which are within reason; ability to life, carry and place heavy objects Qualifications: High school diploma or its equivalent Must be able to perform the following duties: cleaning, dusting, sweeping, washing, buffing and waxing floors, washing windows, changing light bulbs, policing grounds, sweeping walkways, cutting lawns, snow and ice removal, caring for custodial equipment, operating low pressure heating and ventilating systems, ordering custodial supplies, heating, lighting, ventilating and plumbing supplies and making minor repairs to building equipment and any other duties that come up Must have working knowledge of the operations of the ice rink Salary:  Subject to Custodial contract; twelve (12) months, forty (40) hour work week
