ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring an experienced Parts Counterman to handle wholesale, retail, and internal parts sales at our new Methuen CDJR location. You’ll be the connection point between technicians, service advisors, and customers — sourcing the right Mopar part, the first time, every time. Strong product knowledge, fast follow-up, and a customer-first attitude are what we’re looking for.
Compensation: $50,000–$75,000 per year, paid weekly, based on experience and production. CDJR / Mopar parts experience is strongly preferred — top of the range goes to proven dealership counter performers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sell and source Mopar parts and accessories across retail, wholesale, and internal channels
Support technicians at the back counter — get them the right part, the first time, with no delay
Build and maintain wholesale accounts; quote, look up, and deliver parts to body shops, independents, and fleet customers
Process special orders, manage backorders, and follow up with customers proactively
Maintain accurate inventory — receive, stock, locate, and cycle-count parts and accessories
Identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory and work with the Parts Manager to manage exposure
Handle warranty parts, cores, and returns according to manufacturer guidelines
Deliver an outstanding customer experience on the phone, at the counter, and over email
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior dealership Parts Counterperson experience preferred
CDJR / Mopar / Chrysler parts experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with a dealership DMS (Dealertrack, CDK, Reynolds, or similar) and electronic parts catalogs
Strong product knowledge or proven ability to learn vehicle systems and part numbers quickly
Excellent phone, email, and counter customer-service skills
Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented — you can manage many open tickets without losing one
Team-first attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
