Quality services provided include housing, child care, education programs, permanence in families, mental health services and nutrition programs.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated afterschool AGS to join our team. As an AGS, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and fun environment for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and youth.
Payrate - $18.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children and youth during out-of-school time.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Provide guidance and support to children and youth in their personal and social development
- Collaborate with other AGS staff to create a positive and inclusive experience
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Ensure the safety of all children and youth by following established protocols
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required (college degree in related field preferred)
- Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, or recreational setting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
