Rehabilitation Coordinator- Stevenson Oaks

MRC Stevenson Oaks is seeking a Rehabilitation Coordinator to support the daily operations of our therapy department and help ensure residents receive timely, well-coordinated care.

In this role, you will serve as a key connection between residents, families, therapists, community leadership, and our rehabilitation partner. From coordinating schedules and maintaining accurate records to supporting communication across the team, you’ll help create an exceptional therapy experience for everyone involved.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate therapy schedules to support resident needs and efficient department operations
• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, families, therapists, and community team members
• Assist with therapy referrals, admissions, discharges, and communication throughout the resident’s course of care
• Maintain accurate and organized records, reports, and supporting documentation
• Monitor required paperwork and follow up with team members to help ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and other administrative requirements as needed
• Track departmental information and prepare reports for the Director of Rehabilitation
• Help coordinate meetings, care conferences, and communication with the interdisciplinary team
• Support therapists with administrative needs so they can remain focused on resident care
• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service while helping residents and families navigate the therapy process
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the rehabilitation department

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Proficient with computers, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office
• Dependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent service
• Experienced in healthcare, rehabilitation, medical scheduling, insurance authorization, or a related administrative role

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous administrative, scheduling, or healthcare experience preferred
• Experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, senior living, or medical office environment is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidential information and follow HIPAA requirements
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills
