- make assessments of Elders, obtaining vitals, listening to their lungs, checking for any changes in conditions or elements.fill medication boxes. Communicates with doctor offices/pharmacy for new orders or refills

Required Education/Certification/Licensure:
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.
Worker Traits:

Training and Experience:
- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.
Job Knowledge:
- Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
