What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN (PRN)- Cornerstone position at METHODIST RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES?

We are currently seeking PRN LVN’s to:
- direct and coordinate activities of CNAs
- perform basic daily nursing functions
- issue proper medications
- meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner- while maintaining high standards and quality care
Qualifications:
Required Education/Certification/Licensure:
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.
Worker Traits:
- Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative
Training and Experience:
- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.
Job Knowledge:
- Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
