Rehab Technician - Inpatient Rehab

Methodist Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Rehab Technician to join our Inpatient Rehab. In this role, you will work closely with nurses and therapists to provide hands-on patient care while helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Schedule
- PRN - As Needed
- 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
- Every other weekend required
What You'll Do
- Ensure patients arrive at therapy appointments safely and on time.

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Toileting
- Eating
- Dressing and other personal care needs
- Obtain and accurately document vital signs.
- Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions and other areas as needed.
- Assist licensed nurses with delegated nursing procedures and functional rehabilitation activities within the scope of your training.
- Support rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in providing exceptional patient-centered care.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the rehabilitation team and patients.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Minimum of one year of direct, hands-on patient care experience is required.
- Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Nursing Assistant, Rehab Technician, or Therapy Technician is preferred.
Training
- Successful completion of Methodist Rehabilitation's orientation and advanced Rehab Technician/Nursing Assistant training program is required after hire.
