We have an immediate opening for a PRN Registered X-Ray Tech to support our Radiology department.
Shift:
- PRN
- Will need to be able to take ON CALL, one week out of the month (every 4th week) M-F 5:00 pm - 7:00 am. Also, Saturday and Sunday 24 hrs
- May also need to fill in when FT techs are out or on maternity leave.
Primary Responsibilities:
The incumbent will function in the capacity of providing radiological guidance for the safe delivery of care to patients. The position requires a good working knowledge of human anatomy with the aptitude to visualize in three dimensions. The technician should possess the ability to safely operate X-Ray and ultrasound equipment, to draw up medications, establish and maintain a sterile field.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in radiologic technology
- Compliant status in the American registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Registry with the MS State Department of Health as a Medical Radiation Technologist
