We have an immediate opening for a PRN Environmental Service Tech II.
SHIFT:
- PRN - around 24 hours weekly
- 7:00am - 3:00pm
BASIC FUNCTION:
- ES Technician II is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet
- stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, & bonneting of areas that include offices, patient rooms, boardrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas such as cafeterias
- Other required duties may be assigned by the supervisor such as light maintenance (cleaning inside light bulb covers, air conditioner vents, etc.)
- Also responsible for trash removal, Regulated Medical Waste removal and soiled linen collection
- All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of previous housekeeping experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Moderate to heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 pounds)
- Prolonged extensive or considerable standing/walking
- Lifts supplies and equipment
- Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies
- Manual dexterity and mobility is required
- Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching is required
