Cook breakfast and lunch for cafeteria and residents

Cook vegetables and meat according to recipe and garnish for breakfast and lunch

Set up cafeteria serving line with correct pans and garnish foods

Prepare breakfast, and lunch foods for cooking

Check level of products for following day and inform Dietary Manager of shortages

Make necessary advance preparation for next day
-
Clean and wash equipment used in preparation and maintain a clean and orderly work area
-
Assists on resident/cafeteria serving line when needed
-
Responsible for preparing meals for residents, staff, and visitors
-
Also responsible for preparing therapeutic diets for residents with special needs
Physical Demands
- This job involves constant standing, pulling of carts and equipment

The incumbent must be able to lift 40 pounds and must be able to endure heat
-
Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department
Shift
- Monday - Friday

Day / Afternoon / Every Other Weekend

11am - 7:30pm / 5:30am - 2:00pm

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Must have two or more years of quantity food preparation experience in a healthcare environment
