What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Tech position at Methodist Rehabilitation Center?
- Environmental Services Tech I is responsible for overall cleaning using the 7-step cleaning procedure
- Cleans patient rooms, isolation, & discharge cleaning
- Other required duties may be handling trash, bio-hazard waste and sharps containers. Refill paper, soap, towels, batteries, hand sanitizers etc.
- The incumbent is responsible for securing environmental services, cleaning carts, making proper use of wet floor signs, using .standard precautions etc.
- All other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent or 1-2 years' experience
- 2 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred
