Foster Care Supervisor
š Location: Hybrid role covering Central and Eastern NC (in and around Wake County and Pitt County)Ā
š Full-Time | On-Call Rotation Required
š¼ Minimum of $55,000, based on experience and education

At Methodist Home for Children, we provide safe, stable, and supportive homes for youth in foster care. Our Foster Care Supervisor plays a key leadership role, guiding a team of specialists and supporting foster families to ensure every child receives high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Foster Care Specialists working with children and families in Wake and surrounding counties.
Oversee daily operations of Foster Care and Therapeutic Foster Care programs.
Ensure compliance with NC foster care licensing laws and agency policies.
Provide clinical consultation and ensure quality of treatment planning.
Serve as point of contact for DSS and other partner agencies.
Be available for 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
Monitor program budgets and contribute to strategic planning.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for children entering care.
Qualifications:
Bachelorās degree in human services or related fieldĀ
3 years of experience in child welfare, foster care, or mental health
Prior supervisory experience required
Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills
Valid driverās license with acceptable driving record
Ability to manage occasional high-stress situations
