Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Patient Transporter you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transport of patients within the hospital. Provide every patient with the highest quality of professional care and ensure the safety of the patient while in transport. Uses good body mechanics needed to care for patients. Each Transporter will be responsible for dressing and sanitizing stretchers, reading oxygen tanks to ensure tanks are full for the next patient, and restocking linen the transporting department. Demonstrates knowledge needed for proper use of wheelchairs, stretchers and other transporting equipment. This role requires you to have a flexible availability, as we prioritize the needs of the facility and your schedule will vary.

- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Must be able to push/pull up to 100lbs
