About us
Methodist Day School of Terrell is a program specifically designed for children grades Pre-K3 thru Kindergarten. We use developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum to foster each child's curiosity, which leads to enthusiastic, life-long learners. By using a comprehensive course of study, we have built an academically focused curriculum that includes intentional play, STREAM activities and faith based character-building lessons to develop confident children.
We are looking for Pre-Kindergarten Teachers to join our team and provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students, using the TEKS and standards of Methodist Day School of Terrell.
- Implementing a variety of play-based learning opportunities and literacy centers.
- Create a positive, loving, safe and stimulating learning environment for students.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of students while monitoring student progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students in learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members.
- Integrate technology into the classroom environment.
- Keep children safe while following guidelines set forth in the Texas State minimum Standards for Childcare Centers.
- Remain up to date on all required trainings and standards of the program.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $2,000.00 per month
