Mainframe Developer


Location: 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC 27607 (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months


This request is for a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert.


The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial.

The candidate should possess

7 years of experience with Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality

7 years of experience to provide configuration management /release management support and guidance for Endeavor software

7 years of experience with SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques

7 years of experience using tools and utilities to support DB2

- The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings

- The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel
