Job Description: The Product Engineer will provide technical support to production to overcome daily challenges. You will also use procedures and instructions to initiate the analysis process when product failure occurs. You will investigate and research for root causes with analysis documented, recorded, and communicated internally and provide a solution. The Product Engineer may need to contact the customer for any quality escalations. Responsible for first level failure analysis on Customer Products.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Use appropriate knowledge with various systems including but not limited to Windows, Android, CMD and Linux tools, and procedures used in Production for Repair and failure analysis.
- Help Production Team to set up repair line including Tools and ESD grounding.
- Possess skills in communication, problem solving, and applying experience and expertise.
- Identify optimum analytical approaches critical to problems.
- Requires communication with local and overseas team via emails and conference calls.
- Prepare parts and components for Factory Team second level failure analysis.
- Work inside customer lab.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum - Associate’s Degree in product design, mechanical, electronic or computer engineering with some experience or 3 years of equivalent experience as Failure Analysis engineer for computing devices.
- Hands on experience in hardware assembly and disassembly on computing devices.
Essential Skills but not Limited:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office suite knowledge (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Moderate knowledge of UEFI, WINPE, CMD, Batch files, SDK, ADK, Configuration files such as ini.
- Ability to effectively communicate concepts and solutions with various levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively liaison between Company and Client.
- Able to work cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work overtime for special projects or business supports.

Working Conditions
Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period of time while working and walking the facilities; to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement. Requires physical ability to lift 25 pounds.
