Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Trimmer / Garden Assistant to join our cultivation team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in the cannabis industry. You'll work alongside some of the best cultivators in the state, gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of plant care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand-trim harvested cannabis flower with care and precision
- Assist with daily plant care including defoliation, pruning, and transplanting
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in grow and processing areas
- Support the Lead Cultivator in garden tasks as needed
- Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
- Properly track and label work in compliance with state regulations
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Maine Medical Marijuana RIC Card
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Punctual, trustworthy, and dependable
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team setting
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Comfortable working on your feet and with your hands for extended periods
- Must be 21 and able to pass a background check
