Role Overview
As a Forward Deployed Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for directly working with users to ensure their deployment of Method is delivering impact. It is a unique mix of solution architecture, customer enablement, and security tool development. Tactically, day-to-day, this means deploying Method, training users, troubleshooting, understanding user workflows and pain points, and developing new security tools as the tip of the spear. Strategically, you are the technical lead for customers, and you turn a deep understanding of their mission into platform and business advantages.

Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, debug, and integrate Method Platform into customer environments and security stacks.
- Troubleshoot Method Platform operations with users.
- Map and understand technical workflows from users and create solutions with Method Engineering to enable users.
- Develop security tools to integrate directly into Method Platform to unlock new value with users.
- Create and manage test range environments for onboarding, training, and testing.
- Serve as the customer facing security expert often presenting Method from both a technical and value proposition perspective.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop new features and user experiences for all customers.
- Experience working in an infosec organization, with strong familiarity with security workflows, tools, and automation.
- Proficiency in software development, particularly in automating and expanding security workflows within a product. Experience in Python and Go is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with various security tools, such as networking and penetration testing tools, and integrating these within scalable product solutions.
- Practical knowledge of advanced security workflows, including vulnerability management, incident response, and threat detection.
- Ability to effectively communicate security-related features and their impact to non-security stakeholders.
- Familiarity with container security, cloud security, or other infrastructure-focused security domains.
- Familiarity with offensive security.
