Job Description
What You’ll Do
As a key part of our agronomy team, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely and accurately apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides using modern custom application equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure correct product application based on blend sheets and crop needs.
- Assist with daily operations, including receiving, loading, and delivering ag products, and treating seed.
- Support customers directly, building trusted relationships that reflect our commitment to service and agronomic excellence.
- Perform light mechanical work to keep application equipment and vehicles in top working condition.
- Work extended hours during peak seasons—and take pride in getting the job done right.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a reliable team player with a strong work ethic, mechanical ability, and a passion for agriculture.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (post-secondary ag education a plus)
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsement, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
- Strong math skills for mixing and calibration
- Previous experience operating and maintaining farm equipment
Preferred:
- Farming background
- Prior experience with application of crop protection products
- Education or certification in chemical application
