POSITION SUMMARY
The Post Production Technician is a vital part of our process, assisting in bucking, trimming, drying, and curing. This role ensures that every product meets our rigorous quality standards before it reaches the customer. You will work closely with the Trim Manager ,the Cultivation team, and the Inventory team to execute established processes, maintain a clean environment, and ensure full compliance with state regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Hand-Trim with Precision: Maintain a standard trimming rate while ensuring the aesthetic and quality of the flower.
- Process Mastery: Buck, Harvest, and Trim products according to specific company procedures.
- Data Accuracy: Weigh materials and maintain precise records for data collection and inventory management.
- Product Knowledge: Learn and maintain an understanding of different strain characteristics.
- Waste Management: Properly dispose of marijuana waste in full compliance with state laws.
- Cleanliness: Ensure workspaces are kept tidy and clean
ACCURACY & COMPLIANCE FOCUS
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on fast paced work. Cannabis Post Production Technicians are central to the cannabis production process they ensure that all flower is up to Methods quality standards and have an active part in maintaining the pace and quality of the flower going out to the dispensaries in the state. A key part of the role includes maintaining sufficient trimming speed and quality while maintaining compliance in all areas. Most tasks involve some element of cleanliness and pace to ensure that the production schedule is maintained. This position is a strong fit for individuals who thrive in fast paced structured environments where cleanliness and consistency are essential.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Experience: Previous experience in fast food or assembly line environments is preferred.
- Licensing: Must be currently licensed to work with cannabis in the state of Oklahoma.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to use Slack for team
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Detail Driven: Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive, detail-oriented tasks.
