Electrical Engineer / Project Manager
Method Engineering Group is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team in Savannah, GA.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects, work independently, and lead electrical design from concept through construction. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who is comfortable managing projects, coordinating with architects and owners, and mentoring engineers and designers.
What we’re looking for:
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 3 years of project management experience
- Experience managing electrical design projects
- Ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers and designers
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Background in commercial, institutional, educational, healthcare, or similar MEP projects
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and client expectations
Responsibilities include:
- Leading electrical design for MEP projects
- Managing project scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Coordinating with architects, owners, contractors, and internal team members
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Providing guidance to junior engineers and designers
- Supporting projects through construction administration
