Job Description Dishwasher
We are looking for experienced Line Cooks to join our team! The Quoin is an elevated Mediterranean wood-fired inspired restaurant located in The Quoin Hotel just off of N. Market St. in downtown Wilmington. It features a magnificent 115 seat dining room adorned with rich colors, plush banquettes and beautiful wood finishes.
We are looking for skilled and passionate individuals to join our Back of House team.
Dishwasher Job Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Chef Team in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area throughout your shift
- Adhere to established service standards and protocols
- Assist servers in proper rotation and polishing of glassware, silverware, and other service items
- Come to work prepared with appropriate tools, laundered and pressed uniform, correct shoes, and a good attitude
- Efficiently sort, rinse, and load dishes, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment into the dishwasher, following established procedures and guidelines meticulously.
- Monitor and manage dishwashing supplies, including detergents and rinse agents, promptly notifying supervisors or managers when supplies require replenishment.
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored in their designated areas to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Manage trash receptacles, sweep and mop floors
- Work in a safe, clean manner paying attention to the quality and sanitation of the product

Working Conditions/Environment
- The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight to 10 (8 to 10) hours per day.
- Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
- The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
