What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Electrician - Nationwide Travel position at Meter Engineers Inc.?
The ideal candidate as an Industrial Electrician should have a basic understanding of the National Electric Code, ability to read electrical drawings and be mechanically inclined.
Responsibilities:
· Installing wire and conduit in an industrial setting
· Install wiring in electrical cabinet according to given drawings and schematics
· Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
· Troubleshooting system errors.
· Providing clients with technical support.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience in the electrical field (Construction, Maintenance or related field).
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel when required ranging up to 35%
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
- Willing and able to obtain a T.W.I.C. card.
- Must speak English language fluently
- Salary commensurate with experience and skillsets
Education:
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
