Position Overview
Metcon is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Foreman to join our Kings mountain team. This individual will be responsible for leading on-site operations, managing skilled crews, and ensuring that all phases of construction meet Metcon’s standards for quality, safety, and schedule performance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily on-site construction activities and personnel.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure workflow efficiency.
Interpret and implement blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Monitor job site progress and maintain production schedules.
Enforce company and OSHA safety regulations; lead regular safety meetings.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and daily reports.
Support quality control and ensure all work meets Metcon’s high performance standards.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
OSHA 30 Certification (preferred).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality.
