Role Description
The Procurement Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ. This position supports the end-to-end purchasing process, including preparing and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate procurement records. The role involves coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain quotations, compare pricing, and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The Procurement Assistant will monitor inventory levels, assist in supplier evaluation, and help resolve order discrepancies or invoicing issues. The role also includes updating procurement documentation, maintaining compliance with internal policies, and providing administrative support to the procurement team as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in purchasing and procurement processes, including experience handling purchase orders.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for comparing vendor quotes, monitoring costs, and supporting data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders at different levels.
