Role Description
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement activities, including creating and processing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices. The role involves developing and maintaining strong vendor relationships, optimizing sourcing strategies, and conducting detailed market and supplier analysis to ensure quality and efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, Texas
Qualifications
- Expertise in Purchase Orders and Procurement processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisitions
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation to build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Strong Analytical Skills to analyze market trends, assess supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
- Proficiency in procurement or ERP software is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required
- 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles preferred
