Position Summary
The Director of Procurement Strategic Initiatives PMO will lead and oversee PG&E’s Procurement Excellence PMO. In this role, you will drive 2025 and long-term transformation initiatives to elevate PG&E’s Procurement function to best-in-class standards by implementing standardized processes, tools, frameworks, systems, and governance that will enable PG&E to serve its hometowns safely, efficiently, and affordably.
Job Responsibilities
- Unite Procurement leaders and stakeholders around a single, shared vision of transformation that results in best-in-class performance.
- Lead the development of processes and implementation of technology that aligns with Enterprise-wide business needs.
- Implement thoughtful and controlled change management that results in a high level of user adoption and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across the Company to develop and manage the execution plans for key strategic initiatives.
- Engage with Officers of the company, VPs, and Directors / Sr. Directors on complex cross-functional programs.
- Partner with the Sr. Director to both assist and drive individual strategies and efforts and assemble cross-matrixed teams from across the organization to effectuate strategy development and implementation.
- Work with the Sr. Director and Vice President to implement a long-term, sustainable, and flexible Procurement Excellence program management office (PMO).
- Focus on the near-term deliverables as well as the longer-term strategy horizon as the energy and utility industry goes through transformative shifts.
- Lead positive change for California, our customers, and the utility.
- Lead staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, and rewards and recognition.
