Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as an MRI Technician / Technologist
- Graduate of Accredited Radiology Program
- NJ State RT License
- ARRT (MR) / MRI Certified
- BLS / CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans per radiologist's orders
- Position patients and place MRI coils correctly
- Explain MRI procedure and safety guidelines to patients
- Enter patient history and scan data into the MRI system
- Select and adjust MRI scan sequences
- Monitor patients during exams for safety and comfort
- Review images to ensure diagnostic quality
- Enforce MRI safety protocols (metal screening)
