Analytics Modernization Lead
- Can lead an analytics modernization initiative end-to-end, connecting requirements, solution design, delivery, user adoption, and safe legacy retirement while delegating implementation and day-to-day coordination.
- Makes sound scope and priority decisions based on business impact, usage, risk, dependencies, and effort, including what to migrate, redesign, retire, or not build.
- Develop requirements collaboratively with business users, starting with the decisions and workflows they need to support rather than simply reproducing existing reports.
- Brings strong data modeling judgment and a practical understanding of modern data platforms, with the technical depth to review models, SQL, testing, reconciliation issues, and architectural tradeoffs.
- Can align stakeholders and delivery teams around clear outcomes, resolve competing needs, and establish what constitutes trustworthy data, a successful user transition, and sufficient evidence to retire legacy systems.
- Can lead and develop employees and contractors, set clear priorities, building capability and independent judgment, and addressing underperformance or misalignment directly and constructively.
- Detailed technical design experience with modern Lakehouse architecture.
- Vendor Management experience.
