Mainframe Payroll Integration System Developer / NY Onsite

• Analyze and document mainframe migration procedures.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications and coordinate reviews with business and technical teams.
• Research technical/application issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Perform software migrations across required environments following established procedures.
• Handle migration of source code, object code, load modules, DBRMs, and copybooks.
• Compile, link, and bind COBOL programs during migration activities.
• Work with Configuration Management teams on staging and migration of software changes.
• Manage JCL, PROC, and Control Card changes and coordinate with Technical Support.
• Maintain production procedures and support production migrations involving JCL and PROCs.
• Add new programs to Golden Copies in test environments.
• Maintain migration records and communicate migration status to relevant teams.

• Strong COBOL experience in a mainframe environment.
• Hands-on JCL experience.
• Experience with TSO/ISPF.
• Experience compiling, linking, and binding COBOL programs.
• Experience with mainframe software migration / production support.
• Experience working with Configuration Management in a mainframe or midrange environment.
• Knowledge of DB2 and/or IMS DB/DC.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
