About the Role
Metarom USA is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our growing team and lead sales efforts across the Western United States and Canada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and represent a leading company in the flavor and fragrance industry.
Territory
Primary: California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado
Secondary: Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Texas, Alberta, Idaho, New Mexico, Montana
Key Responsibilities
· Grow and strengthen existing customer relationships in assigned territory
· Prospect and develop new leads generated through various channels
· Confidently present and explain Metarom USA's products and services
· Inspire and educate customers with new trends and market research
· Coordinate in-house tasting sessions with our R&D team
· Visit customer facilities to understand their business needs and challenges
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
· Deliver comprehensive sales performance reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
· Streamline R&D pipeline through CRM management and regular team coordination
· Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, and QA/QC/Regulatory teams
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary depending on experience Bonus Profit Sharing Benefits (healthcare, 401 (K) and more)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
· 4 to 5 years of sales experience in the flavor or ingredient industry
· Strong relationship-building and customer management skills
· Technical experience preferred in food science or similar fields
· Excellent communication and presentation abilities
· Self-motivated with ability to work independently across a large territory
· Willingness to travel regularly within assigned region
· Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting
· Understanding of market trends and customer needs analysis
