MetaPhase is seeking a Power Platform Developer with 8 years of experience to drive our continued growth and support with a government client. This project includes migrating legacy SharePoint Designer workflows and InfoPath forms into the Power Platform. The Microsoft subject matter expert will be responsible for designing, building, testing, releasing, and maintaining multiple Power Apps, backend data sources, and Power Automate workflows.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Responsible for gathering requirements for Microsoft product builds. This includes process information, customer pain points, system requirements, and desired end state.
  • Experience being able to come in and create/migrate existing tools into Power Platform etc. is essential.
  • Designing and building Microsoft solutions using tools such as Power Apps, Forms, Planner, Teams, and SharePoint to build ticketing systems, tracking systems, and data intake systems that may or may not include multiple approvals.
  • Writing testing surveys, identifying user testers, conducting user testing, and facilitating tester focus groups for each product.
  • Assisting with strategic development, enhancement, and UI/UX design of SharePoint Online information support systems to include knowledge management for both internal and client information.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships across multiple levels.
  • Providing overall business process improvement recommendations and solutions.
  • Assisting in the problem management process to identify root cause analysis and resolution
  • Coaching and developing junior team member(s).
  • Proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating any project risks to both client and internal leadership.
  • Providing insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure organization strategies are aligned with the overall strategy and market conditions.
  • Maintaining all Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, including adding enhancements when requested and troubleshooting with customers when required.

What We Need From You (Required):

  • Minimum of eight years' work experience migrating legacy SharePoint Designer workflows and InfoPath forms to SharePoint Online and Office 365, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal employees as well as outside sources.
  • Strong experience with process improvement/business reengineering, business case analysis, and root cause analysis.
  • Significant change management, presentation, communications, and training experience, to include writing and publishing user guides, conducting briefings to client stakeholders/executives, conducting system training, and writing agency communications and announcements.
  • Ability to take direction well, strong attention to detail, and exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

Bonus Points (Preferred):

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience with agile software development.
  • Federal government IT consulting experience.
  • Business development/proposal experience.

Work Setup:

  • Hybrid – 2 to 3 days onsite per week in Washington, DC.

Clearance & Education:

  • Must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance.
  • B achelor’s degree required.

Compensation:

  • Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 135k - 155k.
