The Sales Associate role combines customer service and sales support responsibilities to deliver world-class service to MetalTek customers. This dynamic position collaborates with sales, operations, and engineering to serve MetalTek’s customers.
A Sales Associate is based at the plant and serves as a key liaison between customers and the MetalTek business while upholding MetalTek’s safety culture and core values. This position handles a high volume of internal and external communication including order processing, request for price and delivery on repeat items, order status and open order report communication, and triaging customer requests. The role is an integral part of the Inside Sales team supporting Sales Engineers, Project Managers, Field Sales, and the Sales Manager. This position is critical in providing a MetalTek customer experience that is best in class.

Requirements
To be successful the candidate should have the following attributes, skills, or experience:
- High School diploma or GED and post High School education
- Able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
- Developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, a customer focused team player
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Proficient in learning new technology and computer systems
- Desire to take an active role in continuous improvement projects
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role
