POSITION SUMMARY
As a Junior Account Manager – Retail Sales USA you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding Metaltech-Omega’s retail presence across the United States, with a strong focus on the New England Territory (Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York).
In this role, you will manage key retail accounts, identify new business opportunities, execute sales strategies, support merchandising efforts, build strong customer relationships, and represent the Metaltech Omega brand in the retail marketplace contributing to the company’s long-term growth.
This junior-level position is ideal for a motivated, results-driven individual with a true hunter mindset and a passion for building business from the ground up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Activation & Store Visits
- Store Visits: Drive in-person engagement by visiting retail locations across the U.S. to initiate meetings, build relationships, and assess merchandising opportunities.
- Merchandising Execution: Support store-level execution by collaborating with retailers to optimize shelf space, signage, and overall product visibility and brand presence.
Account Management & Sales Growth:
- Account Oversight: Manage and grow assigned retail accounts, including national, regional, and independent retailers.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Performance Review: Conduct regular account business reviews to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and resolve challenges proactively.
Customer Relationship & Training
- Client Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for retail buyers, category managers, and store-level decision-makers.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term relationships to strengthen customer loyalty.
- Product Training: Provide product training and merchandising support to ensure optimal in-store presence.
- Customer Engagement: Lead customer meetings, follow-ups, and strategic discussions to grow Metaltech’s presence in retail.
Business Development and Market Expansion
- Growth Opportunities: Identify and pursue new retail sales opportunities within target markets, including home improvement, hardware, and farm & ranch retailers.
- Market Intelligence: Research market trends, competitor activities, customer needs and analyze product performance across retail accounts.
- Business Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with smaller retailers through cold calling and targeted prospecting, demonstrating a true hunter mindset to build the business from the ground up.
- Product Promotion: Present new products, promotions, and marketing programs to drive sell-through and retailer engagement.
- Category Expertise: Product Knowledge & Training: Educate customers on Metaltech’s product categories, value propositions, and merchandising strategies.
- Trade Show Participation: Represent Metaltech at trade shows and industry events, supporting the broader sales team and enhancing brand visibility.
Operational & Administrative
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, product development) to meet customer requirements.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for leadership.
- Order Management: Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, pricing, and promotional agreements.
REQUIREMENTS, QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail account management or sales experience in the hardware, construction, home improvement, or farm & ranch retail sectors.
- Experience working with big-box retailers, home centers, dealer networks, and/or farm & ranch chains highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:

- Computer Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for account visits, trade shows, and industry events.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the USA.
- Valid passport to go occasionally to Canada for onboarding and training.
