Position: QOS Execution Coordinator
Duties: Responsible for ensuring the Quality Operating System of the Plant is robust, yielding effectiveness of good Quality, assessing compliance of the execution, maintaining sustainability, and driving continuous evolution of the QOS. Collaborate with the Quality Central Team to define the pending elements of the QOS to be implemented. Lead the QOS Implementation Strategy for the Plant. Execute a monthly assessment on all the Plant to validate QOS compliance and effectiveness. Lead problem-solving initiatives to keep improving and evolving the QOS. Collaborate with the QOS Assembly Team to align strategy, priority, audits, and implementation. Define, implement, train, and validate effectiveness of the new or updated practices. Ensure each practice has the documentation necessary to maintain sustainability. Keep alignment with the Digital Quality Management System. Collaborate with he i4.0 Team and Central Quality Team to boost Plant QOS with Digital Solutions. Collaborate with Customer Quality Coordinator and Quality System Coordinator to sustain Ford MSA Score. Coordinate efforts with Quality Systems Coordinator to keep a robust LPA System and support the IATF Strategy. Coordinate internal and external problem solving. Collaborate with the Internal Quality Team to ensure execution, auditing and effectiveness of QOS. Feedback the Plant Operations Strategy and Tactical plans to keep improving QOS sustainability. Execute overall planning and execution for assigned Program for Quality. Collaborate in frame design, tolerancing and overall requirements from Ford to ensure products. Lead the strategy for Product and Process Control. Execute a Budget Management strategy for assigned quality. Execute APQP, MPS and any other methodology for Project implementation. Ensure Product Approval (PPAP) for all Manufacturing Processes (Stamping, Rollform, Assembly, E-Coat and Wax) for assigned program. Set a safety example by following and enforcing all OSHA, Metalsa, and E-Town Plant safety standards. Report or resolve all unsafe acts and conditions immediately. Ensure all incidents have the proper problem solving and documentation completed per standard. Be proactively involved in auditing and improving working conditions. Use ideas processes, section/specialty/FRT/NBT Teams to improve safety in the plant. Ensure all safety training and communication is completed on a timely manner. Perform other duties/responsibilities at the Elizabethtown, KY facility, as needed.
Location: Elizabethtown, KY
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience: 3 years of experience in the job offered, or in a quality engineering position within the automotive chassis frame industry. Experience must include the development of internal audits and monitoring of the Quality System indicators. Must have hands-on experience analyzing and troubleshooting of abnormalities detected with the customer. Experience can be gained concurrently.
