Position: Assembly Maintenance Coordinator
Duties: Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all the Maintenance Department's activities and projects at the Elizabethtown plant to ensure the facility's benefits from company’s standardized processes. Oversee the implementation of company's standardized processes into the facility while ensuring both the needs of the business and the people are satisfied. Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities including facilities and production equipment. Responsible for cost estimating, service contracts and cost control for department. Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance procedures utilizing computerized maintenance management system. Manage projects, including scheduling and installation of all equipment. Track and control maintenance inventory. Coordinate continuous improvement activities. Lead a team of maintenance engineers in achieving plant and company goals. Act as the plant's emergency team leader. Oversee maintenance of facility and production capacity, while maintaining a safe work environment. Use company's innovation process and team concept to improve safety in the plant. Be proactively involved with improving working conditions. Offer ideas for improvement of all systems and oversee the implementation of them. Lead area in achieving plant quality objectives/goals. Part of team leading 100% on-time delivery to customers. Understand customer's needs and work toward meeting and exceeding them. Develop and implement Poka-Yoke. Actively support full implementation of the 5S's, using it to approach and keep all areas clean, neat and properly maintained. Coordinate and lead all maintenance activities and training. Perform other duties/responsibilities at the Elizabethtown, KY facility, as needed.
Location: Elizabethtown, KY
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience: 3 years of experience in the job offered, or in a maintenance engineering position within the automotive chassis frame industry. Experience must include designing strategies to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) of assembly lines. Must have hands-on experience ensuring 100% accomplishment of root cause analysis for monthly breakdowns. Experience can be gained concurrently.
