File Clerk - 1st Shift
Metals USA has an immediate opening for a File Clerk - 1st Shift in our Tulsa, OK facility. The File Clerk will administer general clerical duties of a highly sensitive customer-focused environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Duties and Responisbilities:
- Provides general administrative and clerical support to include: scanning, indexing and filing material for all departments within the organization.
- Assists the Quality Assurance Department with the review, approval and tracking of test reports.
- Assists the Purchasing Department with purchase order data entry and submission to vendors for processing.
- Assists the Accounting Department with all aspects of the accounts payable function to include weekly & bi-weekly payroll processing, bank & credit card deposits and reconciliation.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required to perform the duties of an administrative assistant.
- Adheres to Reliance Steel and Aluminum's Code of Conduct as well as customer confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Ability to interface effectively with all departments to foster a success-oriented, deadline driven organization.
- Ability to prioritize work flow and projects.
- Superior analytical & organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
- Ability to adhere to standard office practices and procedures to include filing, customer service, attention to detail, organizational management and time management.
- Ability to communicate both oral & written effectively with both internal & external customers.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism & diplomacy to include telephone etiquette.
- Computer Literacy to include Microsoft Office Products and ERP.
- Candidate must pass pre-employment drug screening
Physical Demands:
Occupation requires being sedentary less than or equal to 75% of the time ( < to 6 hours per day).
- Stand, walk, sit, hearing, talking, use of hands and fingers, hand-eye coordination, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, squat or kneel or bend
- Regularly required to work on multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions
