Purpose And Scope
The Part Time Transport Technician I supports Metallus Inc. operations by completing scheduled pickups and deliveries within a defined regional service area. This position ensures the timely, secure, and professional transportation of materials and documents while complying with Metallus safety, regulatory, and vehicle use requirements.
This role is structured as a part‑time position, with an expected commitment of 2–3 days per week and 5–6 hours per day.

Responsibilities
- Perform pickups and deliveries of materials, samples, packages, or documents as assigned
- Safely operate a company provided truck in accordance with Metallus vehicle and safety policies
- Complete routes within a 125 mile delivery radius
- Verify accuracy and completeness of pickups and deliveries
- Maintain a professional image when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate delivery delays, issues, or vehicle concerns promptly
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety standards, and Metallus Inc. policies and procedures
- High School Diploma with a Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- High School Diploma with a Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with experience as a previous Metallus employee
