Overview
We are seeking a motivated, reliable and independent Route Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be able to develop and maintain a route and own your own business. Drivers are responsible for driving designated routes to deliver products, build customer relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to manage heavy lifting and organizational tasks effectively. Candidates will also need to be self motivated and be able to work independently to grow the Metalloid 1 product lines.
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned routes to deliver products efficiently and safely.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring product satisfaction.
- Perform upselling of products during customer visits to maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels on the truck and ensure accurate pricing of products delivered.
- Conduct regular route driving assessments to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations while operating commercial vehicles.
Experience
- Previous experience in route driving or commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for product delivery.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in collaboration sales is a plus; military experience may also be beneficial in developing teamwork skills.
