Technical Analyst Investment Operations (Wires Management)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Analyst Investment Operations (Wires Management) who combines strong business analysis expertise with technical capabilities and deep investment operations knowledge. This role will act as the bridge between Middle Office Operations, Controllers, and Technology teams to deliver strategic solutions supporting wire processing, cash management, settlements, SWIFT messaging, and straight-through processing (STP) initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with wire management platforms (preferably IVP Cash Master), payment processing workflows, SWIFT messaging standards, and investment operations involving credit products such as bank loans, bonds, and derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Middle Office Operations and Controllers teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with internal technology teams and third-party vendors to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Manage project plans, timelines, risk registers, issue logs, and implementation activities.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, UAT scenarios, and validation procedures.
- Support and enhance wire processing, SSI management, cash settlements, and payment operations.
- Drive process improvements and technology initiatives across investment operations platforms.
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance metrics.
- Act as an escalation point for production support issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Develop long-term technology strategies supporting Middle Office and Investment Operations functions.
- Facilitate communication among business stakeholders, operations teams, developers, and senior management.
Required Qualifications
Business & Investment Operations Experience
- 8 years of experience in Investment Operations, Middle Office Technology, Business Analysis, or related financial services environments.
