Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and operational support of a regulated, multi-cloud enterprise environment. This role is responsible for driving cloud computing initiatives, architecting scalable and secure cloud solutions, and providing technical leadership across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, enterprise data and AI platforms, monitoring and observability, security and compliance, vendor coordination, and 247 production support. The Cloud Architect will collaborate with engineering, data, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and high-performing cloud services that support critical enterprise workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient multi-cloud architectures across Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead cloud strategy, governance, and architectural decision-making for enterprise data, analytics, and AI platforms.
• Support cloud-based data platforms, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and analytics workloads.
• Manage and optimize monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Monitoring, and related logging frameworks.
• Implement log ingestion, transformation, and monitoring solutions using Logstash and Azure Log Analytics.
• Design and maintain alerting and notification frameworks utilizing Twilio for operational alerts, ETL failures, and critical platform events.
• Architect and support enterprise storage solutions, including Blob Storage, Data Lakes, and structured storage platforms.
• Administer and support Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, audit, and governance requirements, including least-privilege access, network security, audit logging, and regulated environment standards.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for production incidents, platform access issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with cloud vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive platform stability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop automation solutions and operational efficiencies through scripting, serverless technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create technical documentation, architectural diagrams, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud environments.
• 8 years of hands-on experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise AI and GenAI platforms, including Vertex AI and Gemini.
• Extensive experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Monitoring, and enterprise logging solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Logstash for log ingestion, transformation, monitoring, and alerting.
• Experience implementing Twilio-based operational notification and alerting solutions.
• Expertise with Blob Storage, Data Lakes, and cloud-based storage architectures.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics environments, and data pipelines.
• Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs, and cloud integration patterns.
• Deep understanding of IAM, cloud security architecture, compliance controls, audit logging, and regulated environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and provide Tier 2/3 operational support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building and administering Tableau Cloud environments.
• Experience integrating ArcGIS or geospatial data platforms with cloud ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and cloud automation technologies.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, AKS, and GKE.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures, API integrations, data mesh, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely architectural decisions.
• Demonstrated ownership of platform reliability, stability, and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate initiatives across engineering, data, infrastructure, and business organizations.
