POSITION: GENERAL FACTORY

DEPARTMENT: All Production Departments

POSITION SUMMARY:

Entry level for all new employees with little or no manufacturing experience.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday*

6:00 AM - 2:00PM

*Saturdays depending on business needs

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform basic manufacturing and assembly functions in Production departments as assigned.

Work under instruction of Supervisor or Department Assistant.

Train for additional responsibilities.

Adhere to basic housekeeping; i.e., wood, scrap metal, garbage, liquid spills.

Comply with all health and safety procedures.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Department Assistant.

REQUIRED SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE:

High level of mechanical aptitude preferred.

Verbal and written communication in English.

Read blueprints, both English and metric.

Understanding of ISO 9001:2015.

Knowledge of labor cards, routing and move ticket.

Knowledge of Company policies, shop and safety rules.

Basic knowledge on the care and use of inspection devices; tape measure, combination square, protractor, caliper, etc.

Basic math skills.

As required, ability to perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and lift cumbersome and or heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
