What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Fabricate and assemble metal products using shop drawings and production specifications
- Complete fabrication tasks daily to support production timelines and delivery schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and material layouts accurately
- Safely operate and maintain fabrication equipment and shop tools
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and aligned with shop safety standards
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality control expectations
- Utilize the Metalcrafters app for job tracking, production accountability, and workflow updates
- Complete required paperwork, production logs, and reporting documentation
- Help achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, organization, and safety practices
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Prior welding and metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Self-driven, dependable, and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to problem solve and adapt in a production-focused setting
- Organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing production demands
- Ability to maintain required certifications including First Aid, CPR, forklift, scissor lift, telehandler, combi lift, and related equipment certifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening (with periodic updates as required)
