7:00 AM - 4:15 PM Monday through Thursday & 7:00AM - 12:00 PM Friday

Assembler/Interdepartmental Shared Worker/Admin Support - Responsible to complete training then perform any duty assigned in any department by performing the following duties. Maintains and enforces adherence to meet the requirements of the Quality Management System as well as the Marine Equipment Directive (MED), Pressure Equipment Safety Requirement (PESR), and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Complete all required logs and paperwork.
- Cross train and perform production and warehouse jobs, as necessary.
- Assist plant manager and supervisors with administrative tasks.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Produce assembles from required parts.
- Stage parts, assemblies, and products for the next process.
- Assemble and Pack orders for shipment.
- Monitor and maintain adequate materials and tools to complete assignments.
- Count and enter inventory levels as required.
- Use electronic devices for data entry (tablets/PCs).
- Assist in material handling between departments.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma and more than one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and to other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully an individual should have a working knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, accounting software, ERP software, and inventory software.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Equipment:
Computer, hand tools, power tools.
