Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-precision components in accordance with specifications. The machinist will collaborate closely with production teams to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. A plus candidate would have familiarity with Haas CNC Control.Responsibilities:1. Set up CNC machines (lathes, mills) according to work orders and production. Operate machines to produce parts while following company safety guidelines and operating procedures.2. Programming by writing and editing CNC programs using G-code. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to produce parts that meet defined tolerances.3. Conduct inspections of finished products using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, Etc.) to ensure adherence to specifications.High School Diploma or equivalent: technical degree or vocational training in CNC machining preferred.Skills:1. Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or a similar role.2. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.3. Strong understanding of g-code and CNC Programming.4. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Physical requirements:1. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy (up to 50lbs) components as needed.2. Manual dexterity and precision in performing machining tasks.
