We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and package products using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit, including wrapping, boxing, and palletizing items.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory efficiently within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders with precision using order pickers and order scanners to meet delivery deadlines.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using basic math skills and MRPs (Material Requirements Planning) to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, inventory counts, and regular audits to support warehouse distribution goals.
- Collaborate with team members on order picking & packing tasks while adhering to safety protocols for load & unload activities.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on shipping & receiving processes.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment procedures within e-commerce or distribution settings.
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities and calculating weights or measurements during packing and loading activities.
