What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator position at Metal Werks Inc?
The position involves the day-to-day setup and operation of hydraulic CNC controlled Amada press brakes in a precision sheet metal fabrication facility, Metal Werks, Inc located in Marysville, WA. As part of the Fabrication department, you may also have to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines if required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake.
2. Select the correct tooling for the job with setup documents.
3. Load, install, and correctly set up the tools required.
4. Read blueprint and work order instructions
5. Safely operate a forklift
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have strong metal forming and basic fabrication background.
2. Minimum 2 years experience as a press brake operator
3. Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints
8. Ability to operate a forklift.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Lift, carry, push, and or pull 1 - 50 lbs. frequently.
2. Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently.
3. Sit, stand, and walk for 1- 10 hours per day.
4. Ability to work in a 55 - 88-degree Fahrenheit work environment.
