What are the responsibilities and job description for the JR. ESTIMATOR position at Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation?
Summary:
Metal Sales is the nation's largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America. Our Anchorage, AK plant has an opening for an entry level Estimator.
An Estimator is responsible for supporting the Sales team with customer project estimates using a variety of computer programs, primarily Top View.
You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Completing take off using current estimating software
- Supplying quote package to plant personnel and customers
- Managing project timelines and resources to deliver exceptional customer experience
- Supporting inquiries from MSMC teams and customers
- Entering orders so our production team can create a quality product matching the customer's specifications.
The most qualified candidates will have:
- Knowledge of roofing and exterior wall panel products
- Some experience with estimating residential or commercial jobs
- Solid mathematical skills and good analytical skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn estimating software such as Top View and/or AutoCAD / AppliCad
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- The desire to provide world-class customer service
